Nice beach in Zell am See, no fees to pay for parking and entrance!!! Excellent for families with small children as the water is not deep. Fantastic panorama over the mountains :)

People bathing in the mud What ?! Not the real beach. We were there hiking amazing nature lovely but do not bathe there please go to the beach

Lovely, huge lake surrounded by hills and mountains. Also a wetland for amphibians and the like. We walked around the lake, 3 hours or so, but slightly disappointingly where people have bought lake front properties you have to take a detour along busy roads rather than along a shore. Ferry rides available, a \water show\ which is fountains moving to music and several decent places to eat and drink.

Very nice beach with cosy beach bar if you need to eat or drink. No admission, free toillets and beach showers. Nice little playground and loads of place to lay down on the grass with some trees for shade. Just beware of stepping on the bee ;) Water is shallow for quite a big distance.
