If you want to feel the history of Vienna, then this is an essential stop. The location brings it alive.

Excellent little museum on this part of Viennese history. It is all in German though, so if you don't speak the language you will miss out.

If you’re interested in Red Vienna era. This is an interesting exhibition to visit specially if you like to see more of the great Karl Marx Hof complex.

So, this small exhibition is in what used to be the wash house of the Karl Marx Hof complex. Sadly, they ripped out all the original bathroom fittings in order to accommodate the exhibition which now consists of informative but completely non-immersive cardboard displays. Would have been a far greater insight into the socialist vision that the architects intended if the communal facilities arrangements had been retained, and the exhibition fitted around them. And, in an anglophone world, the displays really ought to be repeated in English.

Very good exhibition but as others have said, is only in German so you will miss out on a lot of the content. Nonetheless the staff were very helpful. Worth a trip out there.

English translation would be helpful for non German speakers. But interesting exhibition, concept and idea of living and architecture to see.

Really interesting little museum. Would have been great if there had been translations available.
