Beautiful museum at a great spot. All of available exhibitions are very well presented and offer many things to see and learn. The 360 painting of the battle in which Tirol troops fought against French and Bavarians is really stunning. The staff was very helpful. The only downside is that most of descriptions of the exhibits are German only. It would be great if everything was in English as well.

Interesting museum, describing not only an important event in the history of Tirol but also how history is framed in a particular way to construct a sense of identity. Most of the written information is in German however - I also think there might be more info available through an audio guide or app, since parts of the exhibition had very sparse descriptions and some numbers scattered throughout, but unfortunately I didn't hear anything about that before going in. Would be nice if the people at the ticket office would inform visitors about it. The painting itself is also quite fascinating - I liked that the railings pointed out the places and people you can see on it, though I would have appreciated a couple of key words saying who the people are, as I couldn't place all the names. All in all - definitely worth visiting if you're interested in history, art and/or the construction of identity, but make sure to get an audio guide or app in order to get all the information! The walk to get up there is also quite nice.

This place was disappointing. We were surprised that a new museum didn't have English subtitles. I am sure it is a fascinating collection but we didn't know the significance of what we seeing. The panorama is a 10 minute visit. On the positive side, the restaurant 1809 was great. Service was quick. Food was great. Value reasonable. I would recommend the restaurant.

A fantastic place to visit on a clear blue sky. Park close by and visit the museums, the cafe or walk up to the ski jump. Views northwards over Innsbruck to the NordKette and east / west down the Inn valley. Stunning.

This is a really Impressive monument and museum dedicated to the most historic event of the Tyrol history... you are transported in the middle of the war scene and you can picture yourself as a Tyrol army man fighting the forces. Do not miss the audio guide as it explains everything in the Panorama, the Whats, the Whos and the Hows..Recommended.. !!

It is an interesting place to go. Sadly, there is no information on where and how to download/stream the audio guide on your own device (as advertised on their website). We ended up going through without a guide as the rental audio guides were unavailable (Covid-19) and we could not find the audio guide for our smartphones.

Amazing place... You can view the city from top.. I did not go to the museum. The entry fee is 9 but the nearby place is good. The area is surrounded by park which increases the beauty of the place.
