They say never go back and usually this is advice that is well founded. Things are never the same and never as good the second time around. However, having had the most amazing time in Lofer last year we couldn't help ourselves and booked to return before we had even left. And so we returned last week, hoping things had remained the same. They hadn't. This time it was even better than before. We were welcomed like long lost friends. The service was tremendous. Gear was hired, ski school booked. Nothing was too much trouble. There are too many little touches that really helped us out to mention in full but Christophe's efforts to retrieve my jumper from a mountain restaurant where I'd left it in the exuberance of a last day of skiing in superb conditions was really something over and above in terms of service levels. He even arranged for it to be brought down the mountain for me before I flew home knowing that this was going to be difficult for me to arrange myself. As for the tuition in ski school, this place is really second to none. A big thank you goes to Ulla for teaching the adults. We really feel that we made progress and greatly appreciate her expertise and humour that once again made it a really special experience. Our children benefited from tuition from Basti and Luca. Both amazing instructors who taught them well, kept them safe and made them laugh. In the past we have had occasions when they were less than enthusiastic at going to ski school but not with this one. Not a moments hesitation from either of them. They loved every minute and that is worth its weight in gold for parents who also want to enjoy a ski holiday. Thanks team Sturm you are doing amazing work and we look forward to seeing you again next season. We again booked before we left.

In Lofer Oostenrijk zijn twee skischolen te vinden waarvan Skischule Sturm er 1 is. Toen wij voor het eerst in Lofer waren rees de vraag welke skischool we moesten kiezen. Welnu, aangezien Skischule Sturm meer op Nederlanders gericht is hebben we toen daarvoor gekozen. We zijn nu een aantal jaren verder en onze kinderen gaan nog steeds naar Skischule Sturm. Daar hebben we geen seconde spijt van gehad. Bij Sturm werken naast Duits- en Engelstalige leraren ook Nederlandse skileraren. Wij zijn zeer tevreden over deze skischool. Ook op het moment dat je ergens niet zo tevreden over bent dan lossen ze het meteen en goed op. Er wordt naar je geluisterd en ze doen echt moeite voor je. Skischule Sturm is een dikke aanrader!

Goed georganiseerde skischool waar professioneel les wordt gegeven. De groepjes bevatten rond de 8 kinderen in dit hoogseizoen. De kinderen willen elke dag graag wer heen en ze eten samen. Dus 5 uur onder de pannen. Ongeveer 10 euro per kind uur. De ouders ook tevreden.

Super Skischule mit sehr erfahrenen und gut vermittelnden Lehrern. Auf der Piste und am Lift immer zuvorkommend, was man bei anderen ansässigen Schulen leider vermisst. Als Anfänger Mitte 30 habe ich mich sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt und kann nach 4 Tagen Skischule sicher und souverän die ersten Pisten bewältigen. Vielen Dank!
