We could not recommend Chris and his team more. Having never skied before they were fantastic in giving me the confidence in order to learn this new skill. My two sons aged 5 and 10 loved the lessons too and we all found them so beneficial. We are hoping to ski again soon so will most definitely be booking some further lessons with the team. My daughter Emma took a 2 hour private lesson with Jessie on Wednesday 4th March. At beginning of the week she was all over the place and lacked technique. After her lesson she was able to ski reds and blacks with growing confidence and much improved technique. Jessie put her completely at ease and she enjoyed her lesson thoroughly
I'm in my 50s and this was only my second ski trip. After 3 days of group lessons (not with Habeler) I just wasn't getting it, my confidence had gone and I gave up, despondent. My wife persuaded me to try Habeler for a final chance as she had used them last year. After only one private lesson with Lenka (!?), I learnt more than 12 hours of group lessons; my confidence was sky high - so much that I did a few blue runs myself straight after the lesson and spent the next couple of days skiing with my family and even starting to do a few parallel turns too. Already planning next year's trip-thanks to Habeler and esp Lenka for making me love skiing!!!
My friend and I spent wonderful couple of days with this school and Chris being private instructor. They were very professional, highly technical and systematic in applying techniques and detailed explanation added to practical hints and tricks while on the slopes. Things which I feared and hated most in skiing they turned out to be so much fun thanks to Chris :).
I highly recommend this school for the ski lessons in Mayrhofen. We took private lessons at the school for 3 days and it was worth it. Chris is very supportive, flexible and recommended the best we should have. Our trainer Tim was very much patient with us and made sure we learn all the basics and are being good at it. Can’t wait to get back here again for next winters.
I would highly recommend this school to anyone that is looking for lessons at Mayrhofen. Did two sessions with Chris, and felt like I learnt A LOT in that time. Chris is professional, patient, focuses on the technical side of skiing and a natural teacher - I could see him enjoying that I was understanding stuff better! They are so helpful as well outside of just the lessons - right from the first email, to even after I'd got back to London! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
