The slide is soooooo much fun
An excellent beach. The pools were clean, the staff was friendly and professional. There are multiple pools outside for swimmers and even for those who just want to relax or play. The grass is well maintained. The cons are the lack of changing cabins. The beach is not recommended for those who cannot get used to the cool water because the outside pools are not heated.

A lovely little beach hidden between the mountains, in the valley in Obervellach. There are two open air pools - one for kids, one for adults. The latter one has a cool water slide. There is plenty of space on the perfect green grass, and the trees give lots of shadow. There is also a swimmingpool inside for bad weather. I would recommend coming here even if you can only come for a few hours in the afternoon. I visited this beach after having climbed the Möltaller glacier in 8C and snow. It was a completely new experience to hike in snow and sunbathe on the same day.
Great outdoor pool for hot days. Small pool for young children. Big slide and pool for non swimmers and a big pool. Take a ball to use the beach volley ball there. Nice park - swings, zip wire, roundabout and slides. You can take your own picnic or there is a cafe. Usually you can get a sun lounger to laze on.
