Für die Einwohner von Purgstall ein Angelpunkt für das ganze Leben, für Touristen auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Der Kirchenplatz zu beiden Seiten der Kirche ist an Fest- und Feiertagen, wenn er voll mit Menschen ist, ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis.
