EUROPEAN YOUTH AWARD We enable young people to become successfull Social Entrepreneurs and use technology to improve the lives of actual people. To this purpose the European Youth Award organizes Social Hackathons, App Camps, Trainings, a Festival and a pan-european Contest for young people thriving to develop their own digital projects into Social Businesses. Our history of WINNING PROJECTS include Erase All Kittens (2017), be my eyes (2016), Apprendices Visuales (2015), GovFaces (2014), Our Right (2013), I Mirabilia (2012) and many, many more … there is a full list on our website: eu-youthaward.org/winning-projects We carefully grow the EYA community and our international network. Today we receive applications from 59 countries and communicate with 28 media partners, 19 partner universities, 45 network partners and 19 supporting institutions. It is great fun and very inspiring to see projects evolve, coordinate our community in support for them and to perceive the social impact they are having on our society. EYA is organized by the International Center for New Media, a Non-Profit Organization based in Salzburg, Austria.
