This restaurant is really a very beautiful place inside with two calm floors. There are good local Austrian tasty cuisine (meat is really good), beer & wine and WiFi. The prices are pretty high. And I didn't find the parking here.

Wonder experience, Authentic Austrian feel and the food was the best schnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn I have ever had. Highly recommended.
My wife, her family, and I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant in December 2016, and we absolutely LOVED it. The ambience upstairs was delightfully cozy and historic with authentic folk art decorations. My wife and her dad raved about the cioppino, and the apple strudel was incredible. The view of the Christmas festivities in the square below added to the magical experience. We highly recommend Restaurant Zum Eulenspiegel Salzburg!
Could have been 5 stars. When we sat down just behind another table their server got them food drinks and bread before our server even said hello. The escargot was phenominal. I ordered a steak medium rare. It came out blue rare, it came out just barely rare after I asked for it to be fixed, at that point I just ate it. That being said it was delicious flavur and the side of potatoes and vegetables were noteworthy. The salad was actually swimming in dressing but sent back and fixed. The desert was amazing and wine was quite good also. Decent value for your money but at that price I expect things to be done better. I would go back again, I just suspect it wasn't my lucky night.

The only great thing here is the location! The service was terrible! I do understand that this is not an english country and we didn’t understand each other much.. but I do understand a little bit of german. We did not get any menu card for drinks and when this lady asked us what we wanted to drink we asked for water? Then she came out with two bottles of 0,75 liter water and one 0,33 liter. We immediately saw that the bottles of 0,75 liter water were a bit too much for us, so we asked to return it or just change it to a smaller size. We didn’t even touch the bottle, but she said that we couldn’t. Not only that.. but we were sitting outside and it started raining while we were eating. But she was too busy doing everything else than taking these umbrellas out. Luckily the host came fast even through the umbrella wasn’t big enough to cover us all. This 1 star is for the host!
Extremely friendly service with good English. Wee pricey but I give that for the brilliant location overlooking Mozart’s birth house. Good cocktails and and tasty local food.
Great location. Literally Infront of Mozart Museum. The food is delicious, cozy place not so formal but not so casual. A proper restaurant in the heart of beautiful Salzburg.
