Who reads reviews for toll booths. Even worse, who writes reviews of toll booths. I need to reevaluate my life. This tool booth took cash and credit card and the people smiled at me.

We have been really surprised to be fined by police at motorway exit. There are many reasons to complain about this unfair fine which will prevent us from coming to Austria again, at least in the short term. 1. First of all, the fine amount is simply ridiculous. The fine is even higher than the price of one year motorway subscription! More than a fine it was a theft. Austria should not be proud of it. 2. There were no advertising’s about the need to buy a toll and more important no clear and easy to find places where to buy them. 3. If Austria would like people to pay (rightly) they should advice at the entrance of the motorway (like in Switzerland, where an annual vignette costs 40CHF), not at the exit. It seems like a cheap way to extort money from foreigners.

Make no sense to buy a vignette and pay a toll. On top of that a low speed limit and radar. Win win win. Ok at least it's efficiently fast to pass thru the gates like a horse.
