Great connection and very close to cable car station
Very helpfully, the counter staff are often able to speak English. But if you haven't bought your return ticket, do allow good time in case there's a queue.
Be very careful coming here outside of peak season as the desk has limited/no hours. I went in early april and required ticket assistance with my rail pass, which I couldn't get. The pay phones in the lobby did not work either so we had no way of contacting the rail company... fortunately the conductor on our night train to Vienna let us on without a reservation
It's a train station. Nothing more . However, Railjets do stop here regularly with connections to Switzerland, Vienna, Hungary...
