Die St.-Antonius-Kapelle wurde 1796 von der deutschen und kroatischen Gemeinde Stegersbach mit Unterstützung des damaligen Grundherrns (Graf Ludwig Batthyany) errichtet. 1874 fielen die „Deutsche Gasse“ und die Antoniuskapelle einem Großbrand zum Opfer. Es erfolgte ein sofortiger Wiederaufbau.
