This monument stands in tribute to Andreas Zelinka, a 19th century Czech born, Austrian politician who became the Mayor of Vienna. He is known for contributing to Vienna through many civic planning projects and for once donating his entire annual salary to charity. Acts which endeared him to the citizens of Vienna. This monument is a bronze bust of Zelinka, depicting his head and upper part of his torso. Zelinka is sculpted as a smiling man. He his wearing a folded robe over a suit, which is just visible under the neck. The monument is okay and can be found in the much more interesting Stadtpark. Fine if you’re already visiting the park, but don’t go out of the way otherwise.
Can be freezing cold in the winter.
Nice place for the kids in town
Nice park, the graphity not adding
Echt wunderschönes Denkmal. Sieht täuschend echt aus!!!

Man kann hier gut entspannen und sogar gemütlich lesen.
