Great little museum that exhibits the lives of ordinary people across the former monarchy. Also sports a nice garden cafe.

This a a fascinating place! A museum but more: It’s a journey through time and space of the experience of becoming Austrian. It’s a sensitive view of what it means to land here, of all places, including the exploration of stereotypes associated with new citizenry.
Not crowded, not tiring as it is quite small, lovely gardencafe, free entrance for kids, walking distance from Rathaus
Perfect place for those who want to now more about Austria history
Love this place! Small, quaint museum with some startling curatorial inclusions. What do 21st century immigrants and their personal belongings have to do with 18th century Austrian folk life? More than you think. Worth a look.
The Austrian Museum for Folk Art. A lot objects of the daily life in former times. In the first floor the exhibitions are changing. Nice garden and a vegetarian/ vegan Café in the ground floor.
Interesting exibitions, small but sometimes really worth visiting.
You can find amazing things here if you like folk stuff. There was also, idk if it's permanent or not, an anthropological study and exposition about Muslims and Islam in relation with hate speeches and the growth of alt-right
