Great restaurant! Excellent food, cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Try the chicken strips with potato salad. Just remember to bring cash.

not recommended, had a really lousy experience on Sunday. Food is quit expensive and not very good, the same for the wine, we had a bottle from their own vineyard but it was so so. service is very average. There are many better places around that area which we experienced later that night and oh yes cash only, which is told when you pay...

One of the most genuine wine taverns in Grinzing. Very atmospheric. Lovely garden. Good food, good wine, great service. Also, the owner who is a real character with a great sense of typically Viennese, sometimes quite dry humor.

We really enjoyed our lunch at this typical Viennese ‘Heuriger’. For food you have to go inside and order it at the counter or fill your plate from the salat bar. Afterwards your plate is weighted and you pay right away. Drinks you can order from your table and pay separately. We loved the authentic atmosphere. The elderly lady behind the counter was very nice as well as other service staff. You can expect very tasty Austrian dishes in a beautiful authentic environment.

Actually it was a perfect day and we set in a lovely restaurant. Unfortunately we have been surprised by waitress’s rude and arrogant attitude. We got a feeling this was due to fact we are foreign guests. The food was average and the service was bad. Shame, but this will not ruin our holidays in Vienna.
