What a fantastic place!!! Great staff - slightly chaotic with a superb sense of humour (especially from the customers!), but that's the beauty of it! Lovely bakeries - from bagels to honey biscuits! Great location near the Karmelitermarkt - a \Must Visit\!!!

A short walk from Schwedenplatz across the Donaukanal. The modest looking store sells a handful of types of loaves and bread rolls as well as bitesized potato or mushroom filled rolls, the latter priced by their weight. These, along with the lunch-special of the day (in my case: a mashed potato-filled palatschinke with mushroom sauce--so delicious) were dairy free. Their sweet options were also mostly vegan, including their cinnamon and chocolate rolls (delicious) and apfelstrudel. Sweet baked goods containing milk products were clearly marked \Milchig\ and included the Austrian specialties topfen schnitte and punschkrapfen. Buscuits like katzenzungen and shortbread cookies like Sablés are also sold. You can pay by card from 10 EUR.

Best kosher bakery in Vienna. Very friendly staff and a wonderful nostalgic atmosphere. When in Vienna, I always have coffee and a piece of cake there.
