Nice experience to cruise along the glorious Danube river, well maintained boats and well served with a nice cuisine. The commentary though should have been better delivered maybe by headsets so you can select your preferred audio channel (like Big Bus for example). Otherwise, staff were friendly as well was the front desk employees they were adorably supportive and welcoming.

I took Wien boat trip route A. It was nice and the boat has good menu of drinks and something to eat. Now on end of October I had t-shirt, 2 long sleeved shirts and a jacket and I was okay, but if the weather would have been more windy, I would have been cold. They have blankets to share and there's room to sit inside also. If one needs to choose between routes A and B, for a tourist, I'd recommend route B. There's probably more to see on route B. The route A is more nature, couple fishing huts and water power plant. I chose route A, because I live in Wien and I've never seen this part of Wien. One can also combine ticket with Danube Tower, which I highly recommend if you want to go there as the ticket to go up to Danube Tower is quite expensive (10 euros if I remember correctly).

When in city with big river you should explore it by boat as you will have different perspective on the city. I have to admit that I did it because it was included in Vienna Pass. And it was nice experience but I was rather disappointed that it was not the one advertised on the Vienna pass map all around island but it was still interesting with some peculiar buildings further from the city center and we had to return as river was closed further on in that direction. Blue Danube is nice boat with restaurant and lots of space. I took nice place on the front but unfortunately some very loud annoying French group came and it was hard to understand what was said in German and English. It is good that I do not understand lot of French but they did not have to leave France to discuss some very funny topics for them at least (used to impress girls apparently). I had option to move from there but I decided to ignore them. There are other cruises offered by company and for me is interesting one going to Bratislava with fancy new boat but I did not have time for that. And I was afraid that loud French group of 4 will join me again! I agree with other reviewers that it is too expensive and not so interesting like one in Berlin for example. But on the other hand, I you are walking whole day it is nice to sit and relax for one hour and view is nice as the pictures will show. I would recommend it for Vienna pass holders and only ones for several days.

I don't know which cruise we took, as I am reviewing a year later, however we had a wonderful time. We found the place no issue, got tickets easily, and off we went. We chose to have a meal on-board, and have been telling people about it ever since! Thank you to the captain and staff for such a memorable experience!

Nothing really special to see taking the boat unless if you love street art and spittlelau designed by zaha hadid.

The boat is not nice for sightseeing. There is only a few exterior chairs very misplaced at the stern of the ship, so one can only look back from the ship. This is mostly a boat designed to eat in the inside restaurant, not for Danube contemplation. Besides that, there is not much nice things to see from the river. Just a few fisherman houses. The audio guide in the boat was not loud enough to understand anything. 29 for the full trip AB.

Route C, 23 per adult, is absolutely rubbish. Basically, you see a canal with mostly industrial buildings on both sides. No scenery at all. Definitely not worth it.

Great 2 hours cruise along the Danube river in Vienna. Seating area was very good with options of both indoor and outdoor deck. Stunning views of the city along the cruise.
