Had a great time on boat trip from Melk food and drink on board really nice and good price

Full tour is good value and interesting going through the locks. Loose a star for so many people smoking, including bar staff. Why should smokers enjoy the outside decks and non smokers be confined to inside or put up with the smoke??? So backward the approach to smoking in Austria including restaurants and public spaces.
I hope next season to go to Bratislava with ship again

Today we did the halfway tour. Waste of time and money. The boat was supposed to leave at 14.00 but went out on 14.45. Boarding was chaos. No communication what so ever. Tickets were 23 euro for a two hour boatride. However we spent more than half an hour in the lock. No nice views and no communication on the boat on what we were passing. Glad we could leave the boat.
Well, I thought it would be more luxurious, apparently its not but on the other hand its a good value for money. You can also eat (limited options though) while you see the sightseeing next to Danube.
The tour was not interesting since most of the time you only saw water and trees. No view of the city.
Tickets closed so early even it is a weekend
