Cosy place. Lunch, coffee and cakes are served. Staff very friendly and speak well English. Also an English menu. Outside seating with a corner for the kids to play. Dogs are welcome indoors. A couple of vegan options.

My favorite patisserie by far! If I lived in Austria I would make it a point to visit as often as possible! It is always THE culinary highlight of our visits to Vienna! Beautiful ambience, great atmosphere, owner and staff just wonderful, but even if all that was not already a very good reason to visit La Gioia, the culinary art that is created there by the pastry chefs is exquisite! I always take a minute to just look at those delicacies and take tons of photos, Their esthetic appeal is only surpassed by their taste! If you live in Vienna, please go and check it out, you will end up a regular! If you are only visiting Vienna you should definitely plan to stop by and treat yourself to this experience!
