My favourite outdoor pool in Vienna! Set in so much greenery it’s just bliss! Bring a picnic and your suntan cream and enjoy a relaxing day soaking in the rays

Great place in Hernals to unwind and swim, with an panoramic view of Vienna. Perfect for families with kids.

When I was there it was somewhat crowded. Still, I had a good time with my friends there. Has a huge Slide, many pools, and quite a big surrounding park

Beautiful spot - pool very busy on hot days, length area not separate so if you want to train it’s difficult, amazing views, adequate changing rooms. The city of Vienna does a good job of managing these public pools.

There is no maximum capacity so it can become absurdly crowed on hot days, but there is a surprising amount of grass for laying out. There are actually 4 different pools, which can help keep any one area from becoming too crowed. The slide and diving board seem to open and close at intervals which (as far as I could tell) weren't posted anywhere.

It's large, plenty of space for loads of people with Kids, without. Wheelchair access as well. The water is, well, clean enough and not very cold. Buying a snack or something to drink can be a problem, there is always a long queue.

The place is crowded but okay. The problem is with the ticket system. We have bought normal tickets without cabinet keys. They handled us the paper tickets like it's done everywhere else. But later when we have left they asked the ticket back, because as they said that validates the fact that we didn't have cabinet keys. Of course we have already threw away the paper slips because nobody told us to keep them (nor the ticket handler, nor any signs by the entrance). So we stood there by the exit and tried to explain that we didn't have keys and nobody told us to keep the slips so we don't have them. Nobody spoke any other languages so we explained everything in German but still they said we can't exit without a ticket. Nonsense. So after 5 minutes of pointless arguing they "kindly" told us to get the he'll out of there. So for us the place is an absolute no-go. Never again. Keep away if you don't want to ruin your day.

It was nice there and they had a soccer place and nice food along the pools
