Nice atmosphere, good food and nice staff. I’ve been here twice in a row due to some meetings and it was a pleasant experience. The food they offer isn’t too special, but good in taste and quality and especially in size. The waiting time was adequate and drinks have been served in a timely manner too. The staff was active and helpful and nice as well. In comparison with the price, I believe it’s an adequate deal. If you’re around the area and you are very hungry, this place can definitely fill your belly.

A great little out of the way place with traditional food. The price isn't too bad if you have one of their lunch specials. There is plenty of space in the dining hall and the service was friendly. I will eat there again when I am in the area.
Zwiebelrostbraten good, Krautfleckerl were sitting in œil and sadly service took forever.. Possibly due to Corona?
Typical Austrian food, it's a good place to get around with friends and have a beer or two. Nothing extraordinary, specialy if you are a tourist. All and all....a good place to hang out in the summer and have a nice talk
Great beer, great food, nice atmosphere :)
The Stiegl-Ambulanz, “the ambulance”, in the huge compound of the Altes AKH, Vienna’s old university clinic next to the famous University of Vienna, is a great place to meet friends and have a good time. Here you can get many things, ranging from a Stiegl Beer (a famous Austrian Beer) to a delicious meal, as this place is a pub with a fine lounge next to the big coppers for brewing as well as a restaurant at the same time. The food is delicious and the beer as well and the ambience. The Stiegl-Ambulanz is separated in two parts, one is non-smoking and the other is the lounge and the corner, which is still a smoking area, at least until May 2018 according to Austrian Law. Our event was private so the whole place was reserved for this reason and the delicious food prepared and to choose from plates. So we were free to arrange our meals to our liking. But normally the Stiegl-Ambulanz is a restaurant where you can order your food at the waiter from a the menu. We had Wiener Schnitzel, Schweinsbraten, all kinds of salads, bread dumplings, sauerkraut, noodles, plates with various sorts of cheese, and the dessert, which were a sweet cheese strudel, the Topfenstrudel, Austria is famous for. The staff is friendly and the opening hours are remarkable as weekdays the Stiegl-Ambulanz is open until midnight and on weekends (Fridays and Saturdays) even until 01:00 am. From Vienna with Love! The atmosphere is nice, so is the food. There could be more desert/food options. The staff are generally friendly.
