Restaurant Run By Indians In Heart Of Vienna, Just 900 Metres Away From Vienna Opera House. Food Prepared In North Indian Style. Very Good Hospitality & Friendly Staff( Kudos for Vicky and his team) Amazing restaurant with authentic dishes. We ordered lunch menu for two people. The food meals were well cooked and rightly spiced. So far, it has been one of the best Indian Restaurants we have been in many European big cities.
A fine place to eat if you have plenty of time. If you’re the person for whom service is an important experience, then you might be disappointed here We had to go inside and get the waiter, several times - to ask for salt and pepper, to order additional drinks etc. The issue topped when we wanted to pay. After sitting without food and drinks for 20 minutes we went inside and informed that we wished to pay. This we did two times before they finally came to us. But when we wish to split the bill for 4 people in two, we were asked to do the math ourselves With this said: food is fine and good, prices okay as well
The food that they serve has absolutely no taste. I had ordered a starter and a Tandoor Speciality and both of them, to be honest, were quite terrible. I don’t know how they call themselves ‘Taste of India’.
Taste of India is an outstanding restaurant !!! From the hospitality to the food... everything feels absolutely Indian !!! If you are looking for delicious Indian food in a relaxed and cozy ambience, then this is the place to be. The dedicated and friendly staff will make you feel at home and it's a popular spot for the tourists and locals alike !!!
Good quality food. Enough quantity. Owner and staff ( qudrat) very friendly. Will come back again.
Its OK. Food and restaurant atmosphere /interior design average ( * * *) , however very friendly service, which gives another *. What I didn't like was an extra fee (1 per person) for preparing a table, which is very rare in Austria and hard to find in menu - I assume it is written somewhere, but I didn't find it during choosing a meal. Our table was very dirty and we could find a lot of rice peaces from previous customers on it. However, in the same time we were given an extra apertiser at the beginning and mango juice at the end, so all in all one can't complain that much. Good tipp: a soft spicy meal is already pretty much spicy so don't take medium or hot as long as you are not a spicy food lover.
Tastes are incredible! but be nice with waiters, since they are not too patient
