Developing film here is much more expensive than anywhere else. Staff is not experienced with film cameras either, I was told that \there is no difference\ between a 200 camera and a 50 camera when asking for advice to buy my first film camera...I would recommend not to go there for advice or expertise on older cameras either, they can't help out. The last few times I went there the staff was very rude, I've rarely encountered such bad customer service.
Sold my old camera gear at a great price, they also have a massive second hand shop with reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and knows about its stuff.
Better than most others.. top experience with the staff. Courteous, patience and friendly staff. Huge variety of new and used camera equipment and accessories. Prices are competitive and don't be amazed if you find better prices here than in most stores. Great range of display and availability of most popular ranges.
Being a worldtraveller for over 30 years, taking photos and having photography in my life, I see United Camera as a place that I still learn one or two things from every and each staff. A dream shop for every analog photographer travelling, or living in, Vienna looking for anything, from printing a pics, to finding various brands of high quality B&W films with different ISO. United Camera is but certainly not a place if you are price sensitive and looking for best deals. However, if you really know what you need, then you would be in most cases surprised to see that the prices are just and quite competitive.
Friendly staff... Until you find a problem with one of their sold items! They do give you any option: take it or leave it! I would have compromised... But they were very rude! Did not even shake my hand when leaving! Such a shame... Definitively taking my business somewhere else...
