This station is extremely modern, clean and everything is clear inside. Trains are super clean and modern, staff in the trains are kind, and from this station, you can reach the airport and many many places in Vienna. It's Super nice!

Looks nice and modern, but this unfortunately doesn't translate to it being a pleasant place. Very drafty and cold in the winter even if you're dressed for the outdoors. Uncomfortable and/or crowded seating options if you have to wait for any amount of time in this place. When shops are not closed for corona it is slightly better since you can buy some food in exchange for a half hour in a comfortable seat, though of course buying food in such a place is expensive. I believe all bathrooms are pay per use but I'm not sure. On top of all this, trains are relatively expensive and not at all flexible. Say you want to get on an earlier train--if you have the normal fare it's not possible to switch your ticket, even if the train you want to switch to is almost empty. Hoping for a return to better public transit in austria someday soon. High ceilings and shopping malls can only get you so far.

Vienna's main station - mall style. Very multilayered and very few public restrooms. Get there early if you weren't there before ;)
Amazing brand new station. While I admire the historical pigeon-owned main stations in most European cities, this was a good move.
I used this station after arriving from Bratislava and leaving on the overnight for Milan. It's a very modern station with all the modern facilities you'd expect from a major station. They have locker facilities in the station which was really useful because I'd arrived well before my hotel check-in time and after checking out of my hotel and waiting for the train to Milan. The station as a whole is clearly signposted and there’s several departure boards all over the station, including at the food court.

Loved this place..from here you can walk...to nearby almost beautiful place in Vienna city.
