Sweet little coffee shop with a small but very good variety of coffee beans, good coffee and delicious cake. If they had some option to wash hands, heated the shop in winter and exchanged bean packages with reclosable ones as almost all roasting shops use, they totally were five stars. positive: - friendly staff; - good coffee and delicious cake; - beans to take away with detailed information regarding taste, nuances and roasting (250 gr., 500 gr.); - packages show roasting date and best before-date; - vegan alternatives to milk (such as soy- or almond milk); - cool location in the middle of the Prater adventure park; - tables to sit outside. negative: - no bathroom, no sanitizers, no hand washing possible before having something to drink/eat; just 3 or 4 tiny tables (each for 2 persons) in the interior; - For the premium price, the bean packages should be reclosable! They are not in a sealed package (once opened, you cannot close the package again). - In November, it’s REALLY cold inside the shop - we did not see any heating system nor did we feel any. Too cool is no cool! - self service only.
When you love coffee then this is a heaven for you!!! You can find a large variety of coffee beans. They grind it for you according the type of the machine what you have at home. We love the one from Ruwanda. You can find many nice accessories for making or drinking coffee. They also serve coffee which you can drink on the terrace or you can take it with you.
Excellent coffee and cakes. Although self service, the service is great, and the staff are friendly, and speak English when they realise we speak it better than German. I would highly recommend a visit if you're in the area...
Our best choice to drink an excellent coffee (especially cold Latte!!!). Every time when we have an opportunity to take relax in a good weather and drink a cup of coffee....we visit this Rösthaus. We are pleased to see every time different deserts. Recommend with pleasure.

Very nice place to stop by when you're in Prater. Good coffee and several options for a desert.
Very pleasant place to stop in Prater Park for delicious coffee cup. Quiet and green area just few steps aside Praterturm. Thanks to staff I got perfect hand coffee mill and tasty ethiopian coffee during my tour in 2019. Hope to Prater again soon and enjoy the time with cup of coffee;)
