Wasnt a very nice business class product. Seat configurations outdated using the \foot cubby\ that can make you feel claustrophobic real quick. But the rest of the seat is still more open than most. Service was rather nice, but they were serving something, so frequently, that I couldn't get a much sleep in the near round the world trip from Asia to America via Europe.

If I could give zero stars I would. I will never book with Austrian air again. Not only do they have any regard for customers they are happy to take your money and when the whole world locks down and you can't physically catch your flight they don't even offer you a refund. They only offer you a credit which expires before you can even use it due to the lockdowns. 10/10 for stupidity

I don't know where to begin. Flight OS757 on 19.12.2020 from Vienna to Sarajevo was cancelled because of the fog. Other airline companies managed to land that day, so did Austrian Airlines in the following days and same fog conditions. Interesting. They don't seem to be responsible to refund cancelled flight or expenses that occurred because of that. On the same flight, Austrian airlines lost my suitcase and sent it to me ten days later - 10 days later. There were 6 flights you between Vienna - Sarajevo from 19.12.20 to 28.12.20 and they just didn't send the suitcase. On the flight back OS 758 on 02.01.2021 from Sarajevo - Vienna, I was informed at the check-in desk that my flight tickets disappeared from the system (?). I paid my flights 560 eur and then you just deleted them (?). Austrian Airlines - sad way to fly.

At the moment you have a serious issue (after Austrian did a failure with a booking) nobody will help at all. So bad Austrian lost the focus on the (status) clients - internal processes are way more important... Avoid this airline.

An ok airline, however did show its real face during \Covid times\, took forever to recover money for canceled flights, even after tax payers support. That s somehow understandable, as probably every airline did that in order to survive and to pay employees - fair enough. Only three stars though as the airline played dead over three months, called several times to move my flights, no way to get through - after 15min just cut off. I did prefer Austrian for my flights so far, as I appreciated the flag carrier service standard, with that gone I think though Austria does not need a flag carrier anymore.

This was surely a different airline compared to the other airlines we have travelled. It was not the best but it was not the worst. Wish they had more of a wide selection in business class. The seats also were a bit too uncomfortable flying all the way from Toronto and sitting in on an 8 hour flight was not the best thing. The crew were friendly and were willing to help out where necessary.

Travelling from London to NYC was interesting with Austrian Airline. There was a layover at Vienna, which is a mini detour. For both flights, I was lucky enough to score business class seats (thanks to Aeroplan points!). The first 2 hr or so flight from London to Vienna was on a small Airbus plane. You can honestly save on NOT taking the business class seats there because it was no different from a regular seat, except that you're seated in the first 2 rows of the plane. I'd rate that a 3-star experience. The second business class experience was phenomenal! The flight from Vienna to NYC was about 8hrs30 min, thanks to the mini detour too! Honestly, I wouldn't have minded if the flight was 15 hours long. The meals were extravagant. I've never been to Austria, but I got a taste of the Austrian culture through their dinner menu and alcohol selection. The big screen TV was great, their chairs also included massage functions, it had 3 sitting options (upright, relax, sleep), and there were tons of space to store stuff. I highly recommend the business class! The flight attendants were also very welcoming, and often pass by to ask how you're doing and how they can improve their operations.

You only get a complementary tea or coffee. Not to mention it was the worst tea and coffee i ever had. No snack not drinks. So bad!
