Good and easy check-in. Can pay with bank card. Very striking how clean the toilets and showers we're on both ale and female side. Short distance to toilet which made it comfortable if the kids or us needed to pee in the night or early morning. The women toilet also has a room in the front where one can run a laundry and dry it. I believe a full load washing and drying is 4 euros in total. I also noticed a common fridge but we didn't use it. Hair blowers in the bathrooms/shower rooms. We we're with one big tent for one night. The ground is a little harder than just grass soil. So a little harder work to get the pegs in. The rubbish is also not far. About 40 meters before the camping entrance. Doesn't smell and no wasps or flies. I think they regularly empty it and keep the containers well closed when not used. Nice view on the donau. Shops and restaurants in the vicinity. Also boat trips on the Donau. Older and younger people stay at this camping. Free wifi works! And then the village is very \gemutlich\. We chose this camping on the way back from Romania to the Netherlands. It's about 10 minutes off the highway from Vienna to Passau.

Good clean campsite would use again, nice flat pitches we have a large caravan &had no problems , there is a washroom with fridge washer&dryer clothes airer ironing board .Tables benches inside&outside

We had a very nice overnight stay. No one should be put off by exaggerated reports about noise. Sure, you can hear trains, road vehicles and river boats, but the noise is not intrusive and did not disturb us at all. The trains are on the other side of the river, and there is a high wall between the campsite and the road which blocks a lot of the noise. As for the boats, what a joke to complain about their noise! What do you expect if you are camping in such a beautiful place right on the bank of this great river? The interest of seeing the boats go past greatly outweighs their noise, which is only a low throbbing sound anyway and not disturbing. The campsite is clean and well maintained, and the sanitary facilities are good. We would gladly come again and stay for longer.

Street lights above tent pitches so it's light all night. Tent pitches are rocky as opposed to grass. More expensive than the average site. 16 euro for 1 person 1 tent.
