A typical Caritas experience. This is a second hand shop where Caritas sells the merchandise donated to them. Caritas is a Catholic Church charity, so obviously all the proceeds will go to donations and to their various projects they undertake in Austria. Besides super-cheap wares, one could therefore feel good about doing something for the poor. The shop is huge - it is actually an ex-factory converted to a shop. Worth visiting once in a while and chasing bargains, Carla us also decently located in the 15th district.

I like their book Sortiment, but throughout the years they became so pricy espically in Clothing, furniture and accessories, and some of the prices set are just not realistic

I only live in Vienna for short periods, and did not wish to spend an exorbitant amount on a winter coat which I will never use in SA. A friend suggested Carla, and I found a lovely, stylish, leather and lambswool coat, in perfect condition. What a joy! The products are so well placed, the furniture and household goods as well. Best of all, the nice people working there.
