Great place to be. The host is super. Clean. And the best thing is the Milk.

My family of five had a wonderful stay here during a week. Our room contained kitchen, dining table, two doublebeds, closet and a very nice bathroom. The room had everything you need including a great castle-like atmosphere with wooden wooden ceiling, panels and floor. Every morning the hosts prepared a full breakfast for us and along the week they prepared several activities like hiking and horseback riding and barbeque. As a farm they have cows delivering fresh milk, some goats and chickens laying eggs which my youngest helped finding when grandma needed some help. All in all the stay was very pleasant and we always felt very welcome and perhaps even almost part of the family.
We had our whole family, 18 of us, on a trip that took us to Schloss Saalhof. We had the entire chalet due to the size of our group. The hosts were wonderful. The children got to go with them to get eggs each morning. They also had cows as well. The riding toys they had for children were the best I had ever seen and the children in our group had a great time shoveling their piles of gravel as well. We bought some of their products made at the farm and they were fabulous. Fresh breads we also enjoyed. If we are lucky enough to come back to this area, we will definitely stay at Schloss Saalhof again. It was wonderful.

Place is nice. No big complaints except that wifi was not available in the room and the sofa bed is not worth sleeping on.
Very nice and cosy place with a lot of charm. The castle atmosphere makes you feel special - it is something you have to experience . Apart from that Kathrin is a very friendly person and after the warm welcome and a home made spirit that she offers you upon arrival you will feel like at home. We really enjoyed our stay.
