Nice and quite elegant place to have a coffee and something sweet. Good and plesent service. I'd recommend especially Illy espresso and a cup of ice cream.

Very nice place where you can have a sweet rest with a piece of cake or ice cream. The staff is very gentle and the quality seems to be good. The 3 stars valuation is due to the lack of credit card payment.

The City Cafe in Lienz is located directly on the main square and is the perfect place for people watching in summer - to see and to be seen!Large outside seating area in summer. Inside has cosy and traditional styling with separate smoking area.Basic food menus with snacks and salads. More the place to go and drink a coffee and eat a cake which are excellent! Great ice creams too!Prices are fair considering you are on the main square.Service is always good and food and drinks turn up quickly, even when it's busy.Large selection of cakes, sweets and chocolates to take-away - perfect for gifts.Does get busy and finding a table is sometimes a challenge but a short wait is well worth it. Also a great spot for viewing many of the free concerts taking place in the summer! A trip to Lienz should definitely include a visit to City Cafe. Highly recommended!

Grande bar-pasticceria sulla piazza principale di Lienz. Carte (ben quattro, tra le quali quella dedicata ai gelati e quella dei tè) già su ogni tavolino. Scelta enorme. Servizio celere ed efficiente. Personale cortese e che conosce a sufficienza l'italiano. Non \mascherato\ ad agosto 2020: oasi di normalità (come in buona parte del Tirolo austriaco).

Hier gibt es sehr leckeres Eis in richtig guten Waffeln! Auch die Eisbecher sind lecker. Das größte Highlight sind aber die vielen Torten, die man hier probieren kann. Der Service wirkt oftmals etwas überfordert mit der großen Menge an Gästen. Es kann etwas dauern, bis man bedient wird, und die Atmosphäre ist ein wenig hektisch.

Certamente ottimi dolci, servizio un po' spartano, ma luogo molto affollato poiché unica pasticceria aperta, pur essendoci molti turisti di Natale in giro, tutto il paese Lienz è chiuso. Strano, visto che viene pubblicizzato come il paese del Natale. Circolano molte persone deluse dal coprifuoco... (recensione dic. 2019 pre-covid)
