Good for kids
A really great peak with unique open views to all directions. The most impressive is the scenery of Julian Alps and Karawanks to the south, then Villach, Ossiacher See and Gerlitzen to the east and Hohe Tauern far to the north-west, with Grossglockner dominating the horizon. The ascent route from parking-lot in Heiligengeist (ex ski-piste) is adept for turno-skiers in winter. I went on foot in February, there was 1-1.5 meters of snow, mostly pressed from skiers but it required alternating between crampons and snow-shoes. Once you reach the alpine road (covered in snow) it's easier. Already exhausted, the last hard part waits between the mountain house and the peak, especially if there is lots of snow. The last few dozen meters' walk on a half meter broad snowy ridge is dangerous yet breathtaking. But the prize... I suggest taking sleds for the way back.

Very beautiful view and really good prices
Do you wanna hiking?? This is a perfect place to do it. Close to Vilach and with amazing views of the valley you can dress your shoes and nice jacket to start the adventure. Winter or summer it offers a nice and beautiful experience
2 different hike difficulties. Amazing scenery, very very nice hike in all of the seasons. Good for all ages. There are definetly photo opportunities.
