I really enjoy my time here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They even allowed me to build a bigger desk and set up a workstation to be able to work from the dormitory. It's a fair price for a fair place to sleep. I'm usually at work or school and only sleep here & I think it's perfect for that. I've never had the experience of loud dormitory neighbors or anything like that. I'm lucky enough to have a room located on the north side of the building, which gives me a beautiful view of the nearby mountain ranges. Right in front of the building is a tram and bus station that can transport you all across Innsbruck within a short amount of time. On the downside, the nearby neighborhood is known to be kind of a bad place in Innsbruck. But the dormitory is across from a police station and securely locked, so there is no real reason to feel unsafe. Unless you go out alone at night nothing will ever happen to you. There is a supermarket right inside the building but sadly doesn't have that much to offer. If you seriously trying to buy groceries you have to get them from \Mpreis\ or \Merkur\ store around 400m away from the building. The building is pretty old, so you shouldn't expect a modern shower or anything. But everything is working well and there is always warm water.

The rooms were quite clean, however, they were not equipped with bedding nor with blanket and pillow, so you have to buy it from the dorm which costs you approximately 75 or buy it yourself from not so far away IKEA (it's cheaper), or bring it with yourself there. What I consider to be a big possitive is that every room has its own bathroom with shower, so no need to share it with anyone as there are one-bed rooms only. On every floor there is a kitchen equipped with everything required for cooking, there are I guess 3 fridges and 2 big refrigerators. They are most of the time overfilled, though. There is a laundry room as well and you can use it for a fee. Besides the lady who take care about the whole building and who is responsible for collecting of the laundry fee, is very nice. Plus there is free WiFi available.

Small room with very little furniture. The only closet is for hanging stuff, so no shelves and it is therefore impossible to fit all your stuff inside. Everything is old and half ruined (I don't know where the money goes?). There are suspicious black spots in the bathroom and ventilation system doesn't work. In some rooms ventilation is connected with kitchen amd it really stinks. The window doesn't close well and the noise from the street is very loud (there is a tram every 2.5 min), also the wind come in all the time. It takes 25 min (to the center) or 45 min (to Techniker Straße) to the university with a tram. The kitchen is terrible. 30 people are sharing one stove and one oven so in the afternoon/evening it is impossible to cook something. It is allowed to smoke inside in front of the office so there is always smell od weed and cigarettes. And the neighborhood is really bad- many groups of foreigners mostly men, standing in groups, smoking, whistling to girls... Very inappropriate. There is only one washing machine for the whole building (for around 100 people). And it is quite expensive (1.3 per one washing) Just the stuff is very nice. And it's a nice area for walking.

All living units are a bit different but basicly the side with eve numbers are looking at the street the others have beautiful view on mountains, there is TV bed ,own bathroom.like 2 star hotel, common room with big TV, sofa and gym with ping pong. Quite far away from city but excelent infrastructure.
