Very ni e camping, but a bit pricy. The lake is beautiful and hiking on the neighbouring mountains offers wonderful views and nice restaurants.

The lower terraces are a bit cramped, but we loved our stay at one of the high terraces. Great views, amazing scenery, a lot of space and privacy. Lake is great to swim in. Restaurant and showers fine, staff helpful. Just one thing: it's at least 100m vertical meters from entrance to the higher terraces! Not something you want to walk multiple times a day, and our van didn't like it one bit either, very steep. A lot of effort to stay here, but very rewarding. Amazing hikes from the campground too.

Honestly, not quite what we expected for the price. Due to circumstances we only stayed for one week, but our impressions: positives: - very nice view (the lake was visible from the whole camping site) - restaurant was good value-for-money (we did not understand the complaints regarding the restaurant anyway....) - a lot to do in the surrounding area(s) and on the lake - toilets and showers were okay negatives: - mainly not so good value-for-money due to: - small pitches; the total surface is, and that is my opinion, misleading: you have to give right of way to your neighbours on your terrace so substract 10-20 m2 - gravel as soil - not that great to insert tent pegs - only cash payment, but the ATM was a few meters near the reception (I am puzzled)(?) - the bakery is also bogus - I ordered bread, showed up the next morning and the boy from the bakery relucantly said he did not have my order - showed the e-mail confirmation but could not provide me with the order anyway (...) All in all I have very mixed feelings about the stay on his camp site. Some things very so weird and awkward, I cannot justify rating this site more than a 2 out of 5. But as in many cases, it's just an opinion and your impression may be completely different.

Excellent facilities, but expensive. For those wanting a simple one night stopover on a caravan or motorhome holiday, the facilites make it worthwhile. Otherwise the cost is rapidly prohibitive. Excellent views, freindly staff that speak English, German, French and Spanish.
