I have done a lot of food tours around the world and this was one of the best I've had as it was so unexpected as I had not idea about Austrian food or wine. The tour was well thought out in terms of what to eat at certain times it takes around 4 hours we went to more than 6 places that included desert, cheese, meat, veg, chocolate and amazing vinegars from a local supplier that he can get discount on for you. It included a little walk between each place that was really good as got you ready for the next course and you also do a wine tasting of 3 wines in a cellar restaurant that you have to yourself. All in all it's super well thought out and Lukas is a great tour guide he's a chef so has a huge amount of knowledge about all the food that you are trying but also the passion came across he had such a passion for Austrian culture and food and that's what you want from a tour guide. Book early before it gets too full. It's well worth it.

This was a great tour. The explanations of what we were doing were very interesting. The tour operator is a chef who knows a lot of interesting history. He also took us to a private wine cellar for the end of the tour. It was a great way to start our three days in Vienna!

Phenomenal food tour in the center of Vienna. We kicked-off our weekend trip in Vienna with this tour, allowing us to be taken through the local delicacy's by Lukas on both public as private locations on day one. Very friendly and easy going tour with also gaining some great local restaurant/food tips from Lukas to try(and to avoid the tourist traps)! Highly recommended tour!

We joined a craft beer tour and got to know some fine pubs in Vienna, in the last place we visited we could even order a few beers from the menu - whichever we wanted to have! Not only did Lukas guide us through the city, he also took his time to explain the basics of beer brewing, history of the locations we visited and didn’t hesitate to just give us a great time. Even for a seasoned inhabitants of Vienna, I discovered a few places I didn’t know yet :) A creative and nice way to start an evening out!

The previous reviews have no chance of being legitimate. We are currently on a three month sabbatical and have done tours with Secret Food Tours and Hidden Streets. Both offer immensely superior tours. Food stops 1) Terrible apple strudel 2) Cheap cheese board at the tourist market 3) Free sample of candies 4) Free sample of chocolates 5) Street meat 6) Butcher cold cuts Guide refuses to give the history of anything in the city. Quite literally “this is a good tour not a history tour, you have to book that seperate.” Mostly empty conversation. Not informative in the slightest. A complete and utter waste of our time.
