Despite of being a bit expensive, it's a quite good place
First time using the machines, and they worked!!
It is currently closed while the building is undergoing renovations. Use the Green and Clean in Schlachthausgasse which is 4 metro stops away as an alternative. Update: Building is being repaired after a terrible fire. Not sure when it will be reopened. I will let the hotel know to inform guests to use the alternative. I assume that when it reopens it will be exactly like the one in Schlachthausgasse (which was perfect to wash and dry 40 performance shirts).
It's a little complicated with payment until you figure it out. It won't take card unless it's tap. Takes cash but you need to get a free 'membership' card for that first. Otherwise the facility is perfect.
I wanted to use the green and clean to do my laundry today, as I am travelling around Europe. In the first green and clean I tried I couldn't because they were changing the payment method. Fair enough. I went to this one. I found that I couldn't pay in cash and my card doesn't have contactless. I was screwed. Luckily, another user paid for me and I gave him the cash. It took me around 7 minutes to put the stuff into the washing machine because I needed to sort it, and by the time it was ready it TOLD ME TO PAY. It wasn't cheap, it was another 10 (20 in total). And not only this, because my clothes were still wet and I was alone in the shop so I couldn't ask anyone to pay for me to dry it. I had to go to Budapest with a suitcase full of semi wet clothes, even though I had a bit less than 8kg
We are wearing the clothes that you have donated to us, and we are hopefully waiting your donation to dress us again!
