It's a great place for families where children are able to see different animals. It's good that the animals are free to walk around. My only disappointment is that the vegan food options are not so good. I also think that a place that is about taking care of animals should avoid using dairy products because they are contributing to animal cruelty. Calves are taken away from their mother at birth so that we can drink the milk which is not meant for us. Such a place should avoid this and focus on serving food that is cruelty free.

If you have children that love animals this is a lovely place to visit. You can find donkeys, ponys and goats running around freely. You can pet them or brush them. You also have other farm animals like horses, cows and pigs. But also dogs, raccoons and a fox. There is also a cat center. For being a sanctuary it's a bit commercialized. There is a restaurant that sells decent food (normal priced) . But why on earth do they tell you about the horrors of the dairy and meat industry and then sell dairy and meat dishes? These products are not from their animals and they do have some vegan options. You can bring your dog. It gets crowded in summer.

Yeah it's nice to be a shelter for the poor animals.. But a lot of animal there got hurt or mistreated by labs, farm or any kind from or for food industry. And still.. The food they serve all of it from animal, there's no vegan food at all. Is that sad? Now how could we know.. That you they save more animal or hurt more?
