Best place to rest and eat as you hike up puchberg am schneeberg. A proper Austrian restaurant and a place for your kids to enjoy during your short break. There is a stop for the train as well at this place. The traditional potato salad is good with the schnitzel, and obviously skiwasser or beer from Fass ;) enjoy your hike

Tasty food. Friendly service. However it is a long walk 1.5hours (from Puchberg) all uphill to get to the restaurant. Definitely worth making the effort, although you can take the train up but only till 5:30pm.

Great fun for New Years' Eve and descending on sleighs before midnight has been awesome. Traditional food, good wines, good beer.
