Himal is located close to the city center which is good but the food was average. Our table inside has small flies around us and the service wasn't too great either. One of the staff was very kind hence the second star. Ambience in general is decent but not great.

Very crisp naans and good flavoured food. I personally liked the non-veg momos and also the grilled lamb and chicken platter.

The restaurant was packed when we arrived. Always a signifier for quality. Nevertheless they managed to organise a table for us in no time, which was great. The reviews confirmed the first impression and we weren’t disappointed with our choice. Terrific, authentic food and large portions. Each dish comes with rice and nan including some awesome dips. Despite the waiters had their hands full with work, they were markedly kind and attentively.

Every time we are near or pass through Innsbruck, we want to come here. This trip, we drove up from Italy and made it just in time for lunch before they closed. The food was super delicious. I had the lunch menu and the chicken was super tasty as were the veggie curries. You really can’t go wrong ordering anything here. I also their their naan is one of the best I’ve ever had. Don’t forget to order dessert, their kulfi ice cream is sooooo good.
