It's an amazing place to spend a night or more. The host is really friendly and helpful. Everything you need is there and it's so quiet in the night time. It's located right next to the center in a really lovely place.

This hostel is amazing! They went out of their way to make my friend and I feel so comfortable and gave us tips and tricks to enable us to see all that Hallstatt and surrounds has to offer. Bathrooms and bedrooms were clean, warm and comfortable. Easy access to the train and bus station which can quickly take you into Hallstatt. Thank you so much!
Lucas was extremely excellent. We were there on New Year's Eve and he helped us to go around and suggesting few good places to visit. We also ate at his cafe and he was kind enough trying to accommodate into our diet requirements.
Very nice hostel. Clean and tidy. Provides a full fledged kitchen with microwave, coffee maker and utensils. It's at the centre of the town about 5-7 Min walk from the train station. The town is too beautiful to miss hence I recommend everyone to stay here to enjoy the beauty of the town.
Our reservation in Hallstatt didn't go through so we were homeless and exhausted and looking for a last minute bed and the owner waited for us even though it was already past midnight.
Owner was very kind! We arrived late night, and couldn't find any resturants open, he runs a resturant at the ground floor. Made some customised food for us
If you only want to crash out, and have some basic accomodations, it's cheap, its not sparking clean (not to blame the owners)but staff is comprehensive, helpful and makes efforts to keep this hostel as good as it gets. Has pub, billiards, and terrace!
Very good. Clean somehow. But i felt there are bugs in my bed. The beds are not comfortable. Other than that the owner and his son are very helpful and they try to keep the place clean. You can see that it's well renovated so everything is new.
