The ImageBiopsy Lab image segmentation and analysis algorithms allow for the first time to efficiently and effectively investigate the condition and the quality of the bone based on a conventional x-ray format, offering a simple and quick support for radiologists and orthopedics alike. We enable an automated, reproducible and standardized assessment of radiographic signs and progression of bone diseases. The algorithms developed are trained on thousands of annotated radiographs which represent the know-how of a large number of experienced radiologists and orthopedics. The ImageBiopsy Lab team combines know-how from a wide range of different academic fields, such as neurobiology, physics, statistical math, biomedical engineering and medical computer science. Our focus spans from developing cutting edge algorithms to product certification and deployment in complex medical environments.
