We asked for an affordable gym in Innsbruck. For a ten day stay. They directed us to gyms that either only offer a year subscription, 28-euro day pass or 40 to 80 euros per hour Olympic training facility. That would be 280 to 800 euros for our stay. When we asked for a more affordable solution they told us that visitors of Innsbruck don't want to go to gyms and that our request was not interesting enough to assist us. In the end we ended up finding a swimming pool and power plate training via Google Maps. Some of the special activities on their website's calendar (like a festival) seemed to be on different dates or none existent (like the one on the Botanical gardens).
