Unbelievable experience to travel above the clouds and see an amazing view unfolding.. great \Wanderwege\ (easy and alpine).

Quite a small operation with limited activity when you get to the top, but the views were amazing and the cafe at the top served some amazing strudel. Whilst we were there we watched as some Nordic skiers walked to the top which was seriously impressive. We really enjoyed the steep cable car ride up to the top and it was a good way to spend a couple of hours. If you keep your car parking receipt (5), they’ll take it off the price of the cable car ticket.

Lovely old cabins, not a long queue, maps are available at the bottom, no problems at all. I would recommend not to take a Single way Ticket because the way down may not be long but it is very challenging and exhausting. Surely just something for fit people with gpod shoes and nerves.

Great hike around 3 tops, 5km and about 300m up and down

Amazing way how to reach a top of the mt.katrin. from where you can go short, medium or long trip across the mountains. Nice overviews to valleys or higher peaks close to Bad Ischl

Really worth to see. Cool cable car takes you up and the view is stunning. Price is reasonable.

A great view of the valley and mountains. Some of the trails are more difficult and potentially treachurous than expected.
