This ZOO is not very large but interesting. Located in steep hill, it offers various paths with nice views over the valley. You can find mainly tigers, leopards and other big cats but also lemurs or monkeys. There is a viewing tower accessible by the path behind the restaurant offering stunning view over the valley. In fact views and tower are the reason to visit more than ZOO itself as you may find bigger zoos with bigger variety of animals elsewhere. I was also surprised by the price which was 56 eur for 2 adults and 2 kids without the camel performance which would add another 10 eur in total to the price. It is pretty much for 2hrs visit as there is not that much to see to stay longer. I was also surprised by numerous donation boxes around the zoo asking for money to buy food for animals. I would not expect this considering the price of the ticket.

Zoo with different rare animals. A nice way to spend a good part of an afternoon.
Nicely installed in the countryside, nice range of animals.
Awesome Zoo, a lot of animals that you usually can't find in any other Zoo
The white tiger is a very rare tiger in nature. White tigers occur when two Bengal tigers that carry a recessive gene controlling coat color are bred together. Breeding them in zoos is not cool because they typically inbred as it is said that the entire captive white tiger population grew from one white tiger. In order to retain this recessive gene, zoos and breeders must continually inbreed father to daughter and father to granddaughter and so on. This inbreeding has caused many genetic problems with tigers such as cleft palates, scoliosis of the spine, mental impairments and crossed eyes. Many of the cubs that are born either in zoos or by breeders have to be ‘disposed’ of because they are malformed at birth. They are only bred to attract more visitors and bring in more money, so if you are into profiting off animal exploitation then this dump is the place for you.
a place of animal abuse and captive breeding of white tigers (which ISN'T natural) that bring tears to my eyes !!CLOSE IT DOWN #OPENTHECAGES #BANTHEANIMALPRISONS
Amaxing experience. We haven't planned to go there, but the signs made us curious and we changed our destination. The way was beautiful and very well indicated. If I may complain about something, it was closed when we arrived.
