The KWP Concept Store offers a unique experience not to be missed when visiting Bad Gastein. Everything about this place meticulously selected and infused with passion. The clerk Melanie knows everything about the products and is very service oriented - it is not about selling you stuff, but about offering an experience. Unfortunately, I have not tried the coffee yet, but there is no doubt that I'll visit the KWP on my next trip. It is also worth noting that the assortment changes periodically, so it is worth dropping by when you've got the chance.

Most unfriendly place that I experienced. Was going to go for coffee and take pictures of city...really nice view... it was about 2 seconds I step on extremely small deck owner came out and asked if he could help. I explained I would like to take pictures... he interrupted me saying it was private property.... I said I was going to have coffee.... he said store was close..... [lights were on... he had bottle of bear in his hand)... Place to avoid and certainly place not to spend money.... rude.... unfriendly...

First of all you can open the windows and hear the waterfall. That should be enough but there are so many other little touches that made this place special. Located in a car free and peaceful area of bad gastein this is a perfect place to stay and ski in Bad Gastein. The ski bus is a 3 minute walk from the house, and walking back home from the mountain after a day of skiing only takes 10 minutes. The interior is super cozy and has so many fine touches that make a home great. The kitchen is brand new and fully equipped. Very good linens and pillows, and of course the mountain view from the window. Also a 5 minute walk to Cafe Schuh which has the best kaiserschmarrn on the planet. Go there and enjoy!
