This is a wonderful family-owned cafe in the centre of Vienna on the Wollergasse. Beautiful decor, superb chocolates and desserts, friendly service. It has a nice quiet room on the first floor too. L. Heiner Hofzuckerbäcker.

Lovely atmosphere. You can tell that the locals enjoy it. Lovely presentation of coffee and treats.
One of the best places in town to sample cakes and sweets! And it is complementary to Demel, as fortunately a lot of things you get here you don't get there and the other way round too. I prefer taking the cakes out, because I get slightly claustrophobic in this overly authentic Viennese environment, including surprisingly friendly staff dressed in Austrian folklore... But for such cakes, I'm ready to hold my breath every time.
Great place for a coffee and cake near Vienna opera house and main Street. Prices are reasonable compared to the Mozart cafe. Service is great and they will never push you to leave although the place was so busy .
Really great cake! We waited in line at a more touristy “popular” place (not to be named) and were not satisfied with the cake we tried there. We decided to give the cake here a try, and we were not disappointed. Very delicious. Not too crowded either...it was easy to order and get a seat at a table.
Service wasn’t exactly friendly as many people pointed out but the cakes we had were very nice. Maybe they have consistency issues on cake quality?
Cute, relaxed cafe. Awesome Sachertorte and friendly staff. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy authentic Sachertorte without the tourist crowds
I was served very friendly actually. Might because it was not at the peak hours. Cakes are amazing!
