There is no adequate way to describe this little place of heaven in words. We've had the most amazing summer here, found a bunch of amazing new friends, learned a few great recipes and best of all: we had dinner like Sicilian gods. We are all deeply grateful for what Giuseppe and his wife offered us last year and wish you all the best for next year! We'll be back and can't wait for drinks with you guys in St. Gilgen. Thank you.

We have visit that place based on opnions here and Im glad we did. Charming decor, the atmosphere is calm and friendly, Chef Giuseppe and his wife Suzanne are very lovely. The food is authentic and absolutly delicious. If you get chance, you should definitely go there. A small piece of Italy in Austria. We enjoy every moment there.

We visited La Cantinetta twice in the last months, but the two experiences greatly differed from each other. While we loved our first visit, we left with different feelings the second time around. We needed to wait a long time for our reserved table, the service was not very attentive, and three out of our group’s five portions were what a small half portion should look like. We gave what we trust was a friendly feedback, but to no avail. Even the best restaurants can have difficult evenings, but this situation could have been easily solved by a little attention or just a friendly word by the waiter or the owner. This being said, the restaurant looked very charming, as the first time, and the food tasted good.

Mit an Sicherheit grenzender Wahrscheinlichkeit findet man in ganz Österreich kein besseres italienisches Restaurant. Dieser Mann liebt was er tut. Das sieht und schmeckt man.
