I really can’t complain about this place. Signs say S&S Schnell and Sauber Waschsalon Hogn Instructions are clearly on the wall in English and German in response to complaints. Easy to find right opposite the police station on the corner of Westbahnstrabe and Urban Loritz Platz. Very well signposted close to tram stop. From the minute I walked in the young lady in charge was aware of me; she helped me with washing machine, spinner AND drier - she spoke English and I am very grateful. This is the best service I have had in the few laundromats I’ve visited lately... 6 to wash pay by paper or coins; 21 minutes for 30’ (coldest) wash. Laundry powder included. 1 for 2 m in the spinner. 2 for 15m in spin dryer at 60’. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. Select the number of your machine on the paywall, pay the money, walk back to Machine, select temperature and press the go button! Yes, there are a lot of broken down machines nine out of 16 but there are still lots working...four out of seven dryers are not working, two out of four spinners are working. Apparently the machines do not spin dry very well so you need to use this before you use the dryer. Make sure you pack the clothes around the outside : not covering the bolt in the middle. It appears that all complaints made about this place have been attended to apart from the broken down machines. I am blessed. This was so cheap and inside an hour I had everything done, Walking away in the sunshine!!

Terrible! When I started my drying, 5 of the 8 dryers (pretty sure I counted 8) were marked out of order. So I paid for one dryer, but there was no heat. So I paid for another dryer - no heat again! I had to wait 20 minutes because the last dryer as it was in use, but at least it was hot. I was in Krakow a few days before, cost half as much with beautiful, working machines.

RUN AWAY!!! Out of all the machines that you can see in the photos only 4 were working. There’s an old lady in the place that is also selling second hand clothes (what people forgot there?!) she pretends to be helpful, BUT she has a quick and proven scheme to scam: she jumped on us when we were just reading the instructions and she jumped in making it look like we needed to redo it all from the beginning. She repeated the same procedure that we had done and than took 1 without any permission for her “consultation”!!! You cannot use your own soap because the machine cycle is not going to wash away. you need to purchase THEIR SOAP she said: the reality is that we needed to do another cycle to wash away the soap!!! The tumble dryer is NOT DRYING anything. The machine says 60* but at the end of each cycle the clothes are still perfectly wet and cold. When we asked “why”, she insisted that we had to pass the laundry from the washing machine to the SPINNING machine and spend more money before putting them in the dryer, but when we took them out of the washing they were already centrifuged. The total sensation is of a huge scam! TOTALLY NOT RECOMMENDED!

Great. You might need to bring your own washing powder as it finished when we got there or it never had one. takes coins and notes. Our 1 bundle to wash cost us 10 euros. 4 for washing (depends on your load) 1 for spinner that we used twice (optional) 2 for 15 mins dryer that we used twice to fully dry. Its good for last resort like our situation.

I read reviews about the dryers not working properly but I have say they worked fine. Maybe learn how to do laundry. As a bonus they have a vending machine where you can get a beer and a good cafe down the street. Good stuff

Worst laundromat experience, had to pay 15 to do one load of washing. The wash was fine but the dryer states 2 for a dry and 4 for it to be completely dry. We chose the 4 option and our clothes still came out wet and were still wet after repeating this process. Had to spend too much money and too much time here. Do not recommend. Not english friendly, bad signage.

It worked well for us. It had English signage and the machines accepted coins and paper money (5 and 10 Euro). Soap was free. Be sure to run your laundry through the separate spinner machine in between your washing and drying because the washer doesn't quite get all the water out. It was 1 Euro more and only took 5 mins or so. If you don't mind leaving your laundry unattended there is a little park right across the street.
