Excellent exhibition about the painter Egger-Lienz. Walk up to the top of the tower for a view.

This is just idyllic. A wonderful historic building with charm and atmosphere and great to wander around. Has a n amazing pond with crystal clear water. Lucky ducks!

Very nice, tranquil place to stop-by, once you want to relax and make "a break" from hills and mountains. Unfortunately, the museum operates only from May. However, surrounding park is worth to visit as well.

Great castle and museum at the outskirts of Lienz, at a nice and tranquil hill about 100m above town. Houses sculpture hall and painting collection, including some works of Egger-Lienz. Museum store sells nice mountain and landscape books about Osttirol.

Worth a quick tour as a student, but almost half of the information is only available in German and Italian.

Lovely renovated castle. Old on the outside, while the inside is renovated to a mix of modern and the original materials. The temporary exhibition wasnt the most interesting, but as it's only temporary, this will change quite often. Recommended for a short visit!

It was closed so I only saw it from the outside. It had an awesome fantasy, medieval aura about it, really charming. The park beside it is picturesque and nice too and they both blend in perfectly.

Museum was closed Tuesdays but on internet listed as open.
