The mountain’s beauty and natural splendor cannot be overstated. I was particularly enthralled by the hiking trails that weave their way through patches of the forest; dotted with signage that illuminates the various plant & animal life along the way. Additionally, as an avid snowboarder it would be of interest to see how the mountaintop trails alter when covered in snow. But from a strictly hiking perspective Almenwelt is a fantastic place to visit.

We've caught a bad weather and there are almost as good as no advanced slopes... But we still had lots of fun there! The place is really good for skiing with a family.

Great ski area with lots of nice restaurants, nicely groomed slopes and lots of opportunities for skiers of all levels. Make sure to pay a visit to legendary \Soderkaser\ right at the top station of the second gondola

Amazing place to see some breathtaking sights of the mountains, after the second cable car up you are at 1,370 meters above see level if not more. Parks for kids at both levels and restaurants also must be busy af in the winter.

Been coming here for 18 years. One of my favorite resorts in the area. An area that modifies the pistes to the mountain, not the other way round. Because of this some pistes will be harder at spots but the beauty of the surrounding stays preserved.

Very nice place to ski. The slopes are for the most part family friendly, but if you want to there are a few black pistes as well! So I can recommend this skiing area if you are new into skiing or have little kids which want to get into it! A little Tip from me: search for life webcams from this skiing are to see how much snow there is and if this might be the place to be for you and/or your family.
