Location: there's a big set of stairs to climb up first. But it's definitely worth it ;) You could also used it like a real optimist and use it as a sports thing. There where many people just running it up and down. During the stairs walk there will be plenty of opportunities to sir down and rest. There's also a road that leads all the way up there. Building: beautiful old building, with magical paintings covering the complete ceiling. We were lucky to visit it during a session, so we heard the music acustics. For the creeps out there -\u003e you can check out to skeletons of 2 martyrs in a glas casket! If you walk all down way down the aisle and enter the little chapel on the left side -\u003e another surprise will hit you, but I won't spoiler you! You can afterwards walk around the church, enjoy a view over to the snow covered mountains. Shop: outside is a little church shop selling stuff like candles, Jesus pictures, randomly coffee beans. Restaurant: behind the church is a little restaurant, which is currently closed due to Covid19 measurements. Experience - the church is so beautiful and worth seeing it, that I'm considering to plan my wedding in there.

Just beautiful Monument
Great place for a Sunday walk. From the tramway you can walk up the hill after after the visit to the Basilica, you can continue to the forest and back to the city centre of Graz. Don’t miss the eagles statues on the side of the basilica
It is located in a quiet corner. I have been there twice, quite lovely place. You can take bus to reach there.
Mariatrost Basilica is on the too of the hill. You can come here by tram 1, and then take stairs or by car. It’s also on a hiking route, so you can make small break here. It has beautiful facade. Moreover, panoramic view from here is breathtaking.
